Tech Moves: SlimTrader

Here’s a look at some notable hires and people on the move at companies in the Pacific Northwest technology industry.

Femi Akinde, the founder and CEO of Seattle startup SlimTrader, which is bringing mobile payment technologies to Africa, has been named to the TEDGlobal Fellows class of 2011. Akinde, a 38-year-old graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a former employee at Microsoft and T-Mobile, recently chattedwith GeekWire about mobile payment technologies in Africa.
